SCOOP: Kartik Aaryan pays tribute to his idol Salman Khan with Character Dheela Hai 2.0 in Shehzada

Kartik Aaryan is a total Bollywood freak - who has grown up seeing the cinema of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan - among others. The actor is presently living his dream of being successful in the same industry as the three big Khans. While he recently got out the fanboy in him for Shah Rukh Khan by delaying Shehzada out of respect for Pathaan, we also spotted him dancing with Aamir Khan. And now, Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Kartik has decided to pay a tribute to the machoman of Bollywood, Salman Khan. "Kartik Aaryan and his director, Rohit Dhawan believe that Shehzada is a total family entertainer, much like Salman Khan's 2011 release, Ready. After delaying the film by a week, they decided to surprise all the fans with a new song. After brainstorming ideas for the last week, they decided to recreate Character Dheela Hai from Salman Khan's Ready for Shehzada," a source told Bollywood Hungama. The song is being shot at the moment at Madh Island in Malad with Kartik Aaryan running the show. "Much like Bhool Bhulaiyaa title track, this one is also filmed on Kartik with Bosco as the choreographer. It's a revamped version of Character Dheela Hai and the makers feel, this song will amplify the buzz around the film and also increase the conversation in the audience," the source told us further. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers REACT after Shailesh Loddha said a 6-figure amount is due; dismiss claim

Every time Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is in the headlines, a section of fans gets worried speculating about the exit of one more actor. The long list of actors who quit the show includes Raj Anandkat, Neha Mehta, Monika Bhadoriya, and more. However, it was Shailesh Lodha’s exit that left the audience heartbroken. Recently, it was reported that Shailesh Lodha is yet to receive his dues from the TMKOC makers. Reacting to the claim, the makers have issued a clarification, in which they have stated that the accusation by the actor is wrong. As per a report by Free Press Journal, Suhel Ramani, Artist Co-ordinator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, said in a statement, “Despite repeated communication to sign all dues documents and collect his pending payment, Shailesh Lodha has refused to do it. When you leave any company or show, there is always a procedure that needs to be followed and fulfilled. Every artist, staff or technician needs to do these formalities. No company will release the payment before completing the formalities.” He further added, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has a reputation and goodwill. The company has not delayed payments even by a single day. If that was the case then no artist would have worked with the production. It is very sad and painful when an artist behaves in this manner. Every artist working in such a long-running daily show has to be disciplined. TMKOC is a daily show and the team works round the clock to maintain the quality of the show. One cannot be ungrateful to the audience.” Meanwhile, a source from the production banner added, “Shailesh Lodha and other actors have been like an extended family of the production house. We have maintained a dignified silence on exits and cause of the exits due to respect to the person concerned. It is very sad and painful when an artist behaves in this manner. To forget the relationship and popularity which they received from the show is unethical. Payment is not an issue. Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed to release on THIS date

Anubhav Sinha’s directorial Bheed is scheduled to hit theatres on March 24, 2023. The film, which is set against the backdrop of the 2020 India lockdown, stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Kapur, Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, and Ashutosh Rana among others. The director revealed the release date of the film in a statement, claiming that the film captures the intricacies and inconsistencies of the modern world. “Bheed is a story that sheds light on the social disparity that the country faced in the toughest of times. It was imperative for me to bring this story to life and share it with the audience," Sinha said in a statement. Kumar expressed his excitement about collaborating with Sinha on Bheed, a film that will shed light on the difficult circumstances the nation is now experiencing. The producer of the film said, “Bheed is a film that will share a deep and insightful perspective into some of the tough times that our country has been through in recent years and Anubhav's vision as a director is second to none.” The film is co-produced by Sinha and T-Series, which is run by Bhushan Kumar. The film also features Virendra Saxena, Aditya Shrivastav, Kritika Kamra, and Karan Pandit. The other short from the anthology is a socio-political drama that spans two generations with the pandemic as the backdrop, which was helmed by Mishra and starred Taapsee Pannu along with Parambrata Chatterjee. Jackie Shroff to reunite with his Hero director Subhash Ghai after over 20 years

Veteran actor Jackie Shroff turned 66 today and the social media is full of posts wishing him on his special day. Among the countless posts, the one by Subhash Bhai stands out, not just because it’s by him. The veteran filmmaker made an announcement of his next film with Shroff. He shared a picture of Shroff, which looks like from their film Yaadein, and wrote, “Once a HERO -always a HERO. Ghai has also not revealed whether he would be directing the film. Ghai and Shroff go a long way. Their association started with Shroff’s first film as the main lead in Hero, which also starred Meenakshi Sheshadri. The film initially didn’t do well at the box office and it seemed as if it doesn’t have a chance. However, it started picking up later and gradually became a clear hit at the box office. Ghai and Shroff continued their association in the forthcoming years in films like Hero, Karma, Ram Lakhan, Saudagar, Khalnayak and Yaadein. Pathaan: Siddharth Anand says Shah Rukh Khan ‘never went away’ when asked about his comeback: ‘Some of the films he was doing before were not justifying his stardom’

Riding high on the success of Pathaan, filmmaker Siddharth Anand has all the reasons to celebrate. The director has now given two back-to-back blockbuster with War and Pathaan. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone & John Abraham, the film has already collected Rs. 634 crore gross worldwide! The film has brought much relief to the industry which faced negativity around it, films not working at box office. In the past few, a selected few Hindi films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Brahmastra and Drishyam 2 have surpassed the Rs. 100 or Rs. 200 crore mark at the box office. So, the massive success of Pathaan has brought a lot of joy to the film industry and to the audiences. Speaking to Deadline, when asked why Pathaan broke the drought of Hindi films which haven’t been doing over the past year or so after pandemic. Siddharth said, “I’ll talk from the audience perspective, rather than my perspective. They’re coming because this is a film with big stars in a popular genre and the songs are a big success. Recently we’ve had stars trying to do things that are a bit different. But stars should choose films as stars and not as actors. That’s why Tom Cruise is still the only star in the world whose films are doing well outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – he chooses films as Tom Cruise and not because he wants an Oscar nomination. We know he can act, that’s why he’s survived all these years.” He added, “And that was why Shah Rukh chose to do Pathaan. We played around with that, we gave him songs, we give him scale, we give him action. And that’s what the audience wanted to see. John as the antagonist has also worked and Deepika has also been a huge factor in bringing in a larger large audience.” When asked if Shah Rukh Khan is back with this mega-blockbuster and whether big stars will be back to giving hits, he said, “Shah Rukh never went away, but perhaps some of the films he was doing before were not justifying his stardom. It’s the same with Hrithik in War, which also opened with big numbers. I also think the world has changed and the film viewing experience has changed in India – OTT is a major draw. So there are certain types of films that people want to see stars in, and there’s some OTT content that people want to see actors in. And the line between those two things is very clear.” On the work front, Siddharth Anand is next directing Fighter headlined by Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. Aryan Khan to decide streaming platform for his directorial debut after completing shoot

By now everyone who is curious about Shah Rukh Khan’s son knows Aryan Khan is not interested in facing the camera. Aryan has chosen filmmaking as his chosen profession. He is now busy with his debut web series which, sources close to the Khan parivar say, is about the youth, their aspirations, dreams and nightmares. “It is not a frivolous series, trust me on that. Aryan is not a frivolous person,” a close family friend of the Khans tells me. As if to corroborate his gravitas, Aryan has decided to not sell his serial to any streaming platform until the project is complete. “Aryan wants no pressures of delivering on deadline, etc. More importantly he wants to make his series the way he wants to without any streaming platform breathing down his neck. He has almost every major streaming platform chasing him to close the deal. But Aryan knows why they are keen to buy his incomplete series although he is a debutant.
