Sonu Nigam gets attacked in a concert in Mumbai; registers complaint against politician’s son for causing chaos

As per recent reports, Sonu Nigam has been admitted the hospital after a few people caused a major ruckus at his concert in Mumbai. The Padma Shri award-winning singer was performing at a finale of a homegrown festival in Chembur when an MLA’s son and his nephew attacked the stage after they were unable to fulfill their wish of getting a selfie with Nigam. While the security guards try to bring the chaos under control, some of them sustained injuries too. From what we hear, Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Phaterpekar’s son and nephew was keen on clicking photographs with the singer and was attempting to interrupt the concert while Sonu Nigam was singing on stage. When the bodyguards and security tried to stop him from entering the stage, the matter worsened as he and his team got into a fight with the guards, which resulted in chaos. A video of the same has been doing the rounds on social media. Although Sonu was rushed to the hospital, followed by the incident, it seems that the singer is doing well. However, his close aide, Rabbani Khan (his guru Ghulam Mustafa Khan’s son) and his bodyguard is expected to have sustained a few injuries. Then he pushed Hari & Rabbani who came to save me. Then I fell on steps. I filed a complaint so that people should think about forcefully taking selfies & causing scuffle." Recent reports have confirmed Sonu Nigam has filed a complaint with the Mumbai police regarding the incident and a case has been registered against the accused under section 323, 341, 337 of IPC with regards to using physical violence, causing harm and endangering the safety and well-being of others. The police also addressed the media with relation to the case, in which they have asserted that the accused’s name is Swapnil Phaterpekar. Ibrahim Ali Khan leaves for his first shoot today; here are the details

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan starts shooting for his debut film being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, later this week. He leaves for Kullu-Manali today, February 20, where director Kayoze Irani is already stationed with the crew preparing for the lengthy schedule. In the film, Ibrahim plays a soldier. He has been preparing for the role for the past six months. A source very close to the project informs, “Ibrahim is far more committed to his project than his father Saif was at the beginning of his career. Ibrahim has been in preparation for the longest time. He has been on a strict diet regime and physical training for months now. As he leaves for the shooting he is fully equipped to handle his complex role.” The film is directed by Boman Irani’s talented son Kayoze Irani who has been closely associated with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions ever since he played a small role in Student Of The Year in 2016. Kayoze also directed the segment entitled Ankahee in Dharma Productions’ omnibus Ankahee Dastaan. Ibrahim assisted Karan Johar on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. Udaariyaan actress Twinkle Arora shoots despite suffering from 101.1 fever

Recently Twinkle Arora, who essays the character of Nehmat from Udaariyaan, won hearts of people on the sets of the show as well as her fans with her dedication and sincerity. The actress took to social media to talk about her unwell health. While concerned fans expressed their concern over it, the actress revealed that she is currently on the sets working, despite her health conditions. Sources close to the actress confirmed the news but also assured concerned fans that she is recovering. Twinkle Arora had taken to social media to reveal that she had 101.1 degrees fever. However, she did not reveal that the actress did not take a break from her shoot to rest amidst the condition. A source close to the actress stated that she was instructed to take rest by the doctor and was given medication. The source added, “Twinkle was seen continuing the shoot taking only mini breaks and that too, post medication. But she didn’t take a single off from the shoot. Moreover, she also ensured that she was on time for the shooting schedule. Twinkle also continued to give as many takes as required until the shot was finalized without letting her fever impact her professional commitments. However, let us assure concerned fans that Twinkle is recovering well and once is following her medical course diligently. She should be back to her normal health very soon.” Readers would be aware that Twinkle is currently in Chandigarh for Udaariyaan. The show is currently focusing on Nehmat, Ekam (Hitesh Bharadwaj), and Naaz (Sonakshi Batra). Sunny Leone-Daniel Weber donate 10% of their February earnings to help Turkey earthquake victims

The earthquakes in Turkey and Syria have claimed close to 40,000 lives. As rescue operations continue in full force, Bollywood star Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber have decided to join the rescue missions currently active in the region. The power couple is among the first ones from India who have vouched for their support towards helping survivors and their families with the required essentials.  Leone and Weber, earlier today, announced that they will be donating 10% of all sales of their leading cosmetic brand Starstruck by SL to assist in relief and recovery efforts in the earthquake-affected zones. The couple's agenda to go out and help the Earthquake survivors sends a message of kindness and empathy.  Talking about Leone said, in a statement, "Together, we can rebuild and restore hope after the earthquake. It is essential that everyone the world over comes together and lends a hand to those in need. I urge people to join us in helping the earthquake survivors rebuild their lives." SCOOP: Before Pathaan’s release, Zee Studios had considered coming on board Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan; backed out as the acquisition cost was more than Rs. 300 crores

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is an all-time blockbuster and now, he has already moved on to completing his other two films, Jawan and Dunki. Jawan will be his next release and there’s already considerable hype for it, especially after its massy first look teaser was released last year. Moreover, it’s directed by South director Atlee, who knows the pulse of the audience. And with Pathaan becoming a Rs. 500 crores grosser, the excitement for Jawan has gone many notches higher. Interestingly, there’s no clarity yet on who’ll be distributing and releasing Jawan. While Bollywood Hungama was enquiring about it, we stumbled upon an interesting piece of information. A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Almost six months ago, Zee Studios was in talks with Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, also the producers of Jawan, to come on board as the studio partner. But Zee had to decline as the acquisition cost went above Rs. 300 crores, to around Rs. 350 crores.” The source continued, “These talks took place nearly six months ago. This was a time when films were flopping left, right and centre. Also, Pathaan had not released yet and had wowed the industry and trade with its achievement of collecting Rs. 70 crores in a day and a lot more. Hence, Zee probably decided to back out as they felt that it might be financially unviable.” The source, however, has no update about the present-day scenario and whether Zee Studios has once again shown interest or some other studio has commenced discussions with Jawan’s makers. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Jawan also stars Priya Mani and Sanya Malhotra. Vijay Sethupathi, who recently debuted in the Hindi-speaking markets with the acclaimed web series Farzi, is reportedly playing the antagonist. Kareena Kapoor Khan was supposed to be paired opposite Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor instead of Sumeet Vyas in Veere Di Wedding

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most popular stars in the country. The actress, who is a mother of two, worked through her first pregnancy. This also led to the delay in kicking off, Veere Di Wedding which starred Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Turns out, not Sumeet Vyas, but popular Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor was supposed to be paired opposite Kareena. Rhea Kapoor brought Fawad Khan to the film industry and it seems like she wanted to introduce another fresh face in the films who was already a heartthrob in Pakistan. In a recent conversation, Danish Taimoor revealed that the actor was supposed to be a part of the film but due to Kareena’s pregnancy, the film was delayed and the rising tension between the two nations also put a stop for actors to work in Bollywood. During his chat on The Talk Talk Show with Hassan Choudary, the actor said, “We didn’t reveal it because we were too excited, (I, and Ayeza Khan [his wife, actor]), we were ecstatic. I was also given the dates by the production house, and they had finalized me and Javed Sheikh. When the first scene of the film was to be shot in Thailand, Kapoor announced her pregnancy which caused an inevitable delay followed by the escalation from both India and Pakistan." Produced by Rhea Kapoor and helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, Veere Di Wedding released in 2018. Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan. The film released on August 11, 2022, and arrived on Netflix on October 6, 2022. She has wrapped the Indian adaptation of The Devotion of Suspect X with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The actress has also wrapped the shoot for Hansal Mehta's next. With this film, the actress turns producer for the first time. The project will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Hansal Mehta. Ekta and Kareena Kapoor Khan previously teamed up on the comedy, Veere Di Wedding in 2018. Reports also state that Kareena Kapoor Khan has signed a project, which will also star Tabu and Kriti Sanon. The makers are yet to confirm their movie. On the other hand, Danish Taimoor has been popularly known for his Urdu drama serials including Meri Behen Maya, Sari Bhool Humari Thi, Deewangi, and Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi among others.
