Nora Fatehi BREAKS SILENCE on holding Indian flag upside down at FIFA 2022 in a mini-documentary, watch

It’s been just more than a year since Nora Fatehi made history as the first Bollywood star to perform at the prestigious FIFA World Cup 2022 ceremony. A milestone which was telecasted to more than a billion viewers worldwide. Recalling the same, the actress recently released a mini-documentary, in which she gives viewers an intimate look at the process she endured, to end up on the biggest stage in the world.

The documentary also goes on to shed light on the controversy that was stirred up when fated winds flipped over the Indian flag while she held it, for barely 2 seconds. The actress opens up for the first time reflecting on her thoughts on the incident. She pointed out that it was irresponsible how the media chose to highlight an unintentional incident while overlooking the bigger achievement and thought behind representing the country to a global audience.

A scene in the documentary in which Nora listens to a voicemail sent by a local Indian Qatari fan who attended Fatehi’s performance left the actress feeling emotional. His words “Thank you for making us so proud. Thank you for choosing Bollywood” could be felt by many.

Expressing her concern for the controversy and love for the country, she says, “I’m not Nora Fatehi from Westview Centennial Secondary School anymore, neither am I Nora who goes to Morocco every summer with her family. I am Nora Fatehi and like that’s a new person. And that person was born in India!”. She goes on to say, “I am there (on a global stage) today because of this country and the people!”

After the release, President of FIFA, Infantino Gianni also endorsed support and solidarity for Nora Fatehi’s documentary, congratulating her for all the efforts while underscoring the significance of her presence on a global sports stage. Also, a lot of fans and love from the audience pushed her to focus only on her goal.

Bhushan Kumar and Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino, has just announced its new release date. The film will now hit theatres on 13th September 2024. It was earlier set to hit the theatres on Good Friday, March 29, 2024. The film will tell heartwarming stories of modern-day couples brought to life by a talented ensemble cast. Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh will grace the screen.

While announcing the project in December 2022, filmmaker Anurag Basu said, “Metro… In Dino is a tale of the people and for the people! It has been a while since I am working on this one and I am glad to be collaborating with a powerhouse like Bhushan Kumar yet again who has always been like a pillar to me! The storyline is fresh and relevant as I look forward to collaborating with amazing artists who bring the essence of contemporary aura. As the music plays a very important role in any film, I couldn’t be more happy to be collaborating with my dear friend Pritam who has literally added life to the characters and story with his work,” in a statement.

Confirmed: Thaman S to make solo Bollywood debut in Atlee's VD18 with; makers of Varun Dhawan starrer to unveil a massy teaser soon

Bollywood is about to welcome another musical sensation from the South! Following the success of Anirudh Ravichander in Atlee's Jawan, the filmmaker has now roped in another National Award winner – Thaman S – for his upcoming Bollywood venture, VD18.

If a report by PeepingMoon is something to go by, then the forthcoming action-packed film starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi will mark Thaman's solo composer debut in Hindi cinema. While he previously collaborated with Rohit Shetty in Golmaal Again and Simmba, VD18 is his big solo entry into the Bollywood music scene. He's reportedly pouring his heart and soul into the album, featuring 4-5 songs and the background score.

The report further stated that the film will officially be announced in the next couple of days. It is said that the announcement will be made with a massy teaser, revealing the title and release date. On the other hand, contrary to rumours, the film won't be called Lion.

For the unversed, VD18 is an exciting adaptation of Atlee's 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri. While retaining the core story, the film promises a fresh Bollywood twist, with a talented cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, and a special cameo by Sanya Malhotra.

VD18 is currently in production under the direction of Kalees, and is steadily heading towards a March 2024 wrap. Produced by Priya Atlee and Murad Khetani, and presented by Atlee himself, this film promises to be a spectacle not to be missed.

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya release date out!

Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan have officially unveiled the much-anticipated title of the upcoming romantic drama featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Titled Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya - An Impossible Love Story, the film is set to hit theatres on February 9, 2024.

The motion poster accompanying the title announcement showcases the chemistry between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, introducing them as the new pair in Bollywood. The visuals set the stage for a perfect Valentine's week release.

Sajid Nadiadwala gives the title KING to Shah Rukh Khan for free; hopes to collaborate with him in the future

Sajid Nadiadwala is the most respected producer of Indian Cinema, who often stands by the industry in times of need. Back in 2017, Sajid Nadiadwala had parted ways with the title Bharat for Salman Khan, who back then wanted the title for director Ali Abbas Zafar's drama. And now, Bollywood Hungama has an exclusive scoop.

According to our highly placed sources, Sajid Nadiadwala parted ways with the title King for Shah Rukh Khan. "It was just a matter of one call from SRK and Sajid decided to transfer the title to Red Chillies Entertainment. Sajid has the utmost love and respect for SRK and has the dream of collaborating with him on a feature film soon. He has worked with Salman and Akshay, and is looking to work with Shah Rukh Khan as well," revealed a source close to the development to Bollywood Hungama.

When Shah Rukh called him requesting for the title, it took less than a week for Sajid to complete all the paperwork and transfer it to SRK. "King was a title close to Sajid Nadiadwala's heart as he was looking to make an action film with Hrithik Roshan back in 2017. It was to be directed by Kabir Khan. Life is coming full circle as the King title has gone to the person who is popularly known as King Khan. Sajid agreed to the fact that no one but SRK can justify the title of King and hence, has given it to the deserving candidate," the source added further.

King is Shah Rukh Khan's next full-fledged feature film after the Rajkumar Hirani-directed Dunki. It's directed by Sujoy Ghosh and produced by Siddharth Anand with Red Chillies Entertainment. The film goes on floors soon with a start-to-finish schedule and will hit the big screen in 2025.

Salman Khan to shoot his cameo in Sunny Deol starrer Safar this week: Report

Salman Khan and Sunny Deol, who shared the screen 27 years ago in Jeet, are set for a reunion in the film Safar. After the success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol has been immersed in his upcoming project. Recent reports indicate Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in the movie, marking their on-screen collaboration after nearly three decades. Scheduled to shoot his part this week, Salman's cameo adds anticipation to the film, creating excitement among fans who look forward to witnessing the duo once again.

According to a report in Mid-Day, “The Tiger 3 star will shoot with Paaji later this week. Salman reportedly has a cameo in Sunny’s next, Safar, for which the two actors are expected to film their scenes together this Friday and Saturday at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. Salman will be playing himself in the Vishal Rana production venture.”

Produced by Echelon Productions, Safar is reportedly set for 2024 release. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol has Aamir Khan Productions’ next project Lahore 1947 which will be helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

On the other hand, Salman Khan has Dharma Productions’ next The Bull with Shershaah director Vishnu Vardhan. He also has a project in the works with Sooraj Barjatya. Animal tickets slashed to Rs. 100 after the success bash of Ranbir Kapoor starrer

For the unversed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, was released in five languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada) on December 1, 2023. Produced by T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, the film quickly attracted footfalls at the box office and collected over Rs 550 crores at the Indian box office.
